One negative effect of the
Socialist Democrat legislative filibuster is that senators are cobbling together
many bills into omnibus bills, Christmas Tree bills, in order to hasten passage. The problem is that in several cases, positive
& negative bills impacting taxpayers are included, making it difficult to
evaluate state senator votes. Legislators
seriously must consider changing the rules by discounting Present Not Voting
