Opinion: A
crowd of children participated in the teacher union rally against opportunity
scholarships for underprivileged children.
This action proves that the teachers’ union is less interested in educating
our kids than indoctrinating them to be budding leftists. 55%-60% of our property tax dollars fund
public education. Decline to sign the

Although he
has not formally applied for the position, OPS acting superintendent Matt Ray
would be an excellent choice for permanent superintendent. Ray consistently has solicited and replied to
taxpayer inquiries about various OPS policies and management & pursued solid
strategic goals. This school district
desperately needs such commonsense leadership and vision. Lobby your OPS school board member to select
