Taxpayer
praise to all 7 Douglas County Commissioners who voted to lower the county
property tax levy 1/2c per $100 of valuation, after finding that the county
valuation increase averaged 11.5% instead of 9%. Although property owners still will pay more
property tax to the county because of inflation, Douglas Co. Commissioners made
an effort to ease the tax hike pain. Thank
