Taxpayer shame on Douglas Co. Commissioners.  NE Taxpayers for Freedom warned the county board 2 yrs. ago that the proposed new elaborate juvenile detention center downtown was too small to hold what is clearly an increase in violent juvenile crime.  Now, apparently the county must hold the overflow in the old juvenile center, requiring 2 sets of jailers & other staff.  County taxpayers will pay the extra bill.  Email netaxpayers@gmail.com to join our County Watch Project & chastise county commissioners.
