Patriots-Nebraska will sponsor their annual Tax Day Tea Party on
Saturday, April 11, from 1 PM to 4 PM at
Walnut Grove Park, 150th & Q Streets, Omaha. The theme is "Taxed
to the Max." Keynote speaker
is Iowa Congressman Steve King, a resolute fighter to curtail taxes and illegal
immigration. Other speakers include Gov.
Pete Ricketts, Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert, and other state and local officeholders. Our tea party also will feature patriotic
music, contests, drawings for prizes, a Liberty Tree, tables loaded with
conservative and Tea Party materials, and free hot dogs, chips, cookies, and bottled
water.
