at work: The Learning Community (LC) spent $19,320.40 in July & August for
baby diapers and formula. The objective
of the LC is to improve academic achievement for poor & minority children,
not provide babysitting services. The LC
is an out of control bureaucracy, its board members continually seeking to
expand its services outside its original objectives, wasting our tax $$ in
wanton disregard for fiscal control. Despite
its profligate spending, no creditable improvement in academic achievement for
its hapless students. Contact your state

Very informative post. I'm sorry to admit, I've never paid any attention to what the Learning Community does. Thank you for opening my eyes, I will be watching and following this group.
