Shame on You State Senator Danielle Conrad

Nebraska State Sen. Danielle Conrad, one of the most leftwing senators in the Unicameral (48% conservative voting record from NTF in 2012), went on a rant against the American Legislative Exchange Council, a group of businesses and state senators who promote legislation to limit government and encourage the free market economy and state sovereignty.  Conrad chastised ALEC for tackling issues of great importance to conservatives, like gun owner rights, voter ID, and illegal immigration.  Joining her criticism were 2 leftist groups in Nebraska, Bold Nebraska and Common Cause, better known as Commie Cause among conservatives.  Conrad, of course, did not criticize leftist groups like the Sierra Club that seek to influence legislation in Lincoln.  Nebraska Taxpayers for Freedom praises State Sen. Jim Smith and other state senators who belong to ALEC and sponsor legislation to promote fiscally conservative issues in our legislature that help the average citizen and small business owner.
