NEBRASKA TAXPAYERS JANUARY MEETING.

On Wed. Jan. 20, 6:30 PM, State Senator John McCollister will speak at our NTF meeting at Millard Library on his bill, LB 851, to require all state agencies, boards, and commissions to make public their financial records, particularly their spending records.  In the past, these entities have hidden and refused to divulge this information and have used their funds to lobby against taxpayers.  Bring friends and neighbors!

STOP THE INFILTRATION OF MUSLIM TERRORISTS

I wonder if the crowd at Gifford Park that whines for our nation to allow entrance to thousands of destitute Muslim refugees who are insufficiently unvetted for terrorist and/or criminal affiliations would offer to financially support them and be responsible for their lawful conduct.  The House passed a resolution to require approval of top national security officials before resettlement of Muslims from Syria and Iraq.  However, these security officials still state they cannot effectively check the backgrounds of these refugees.  Nebraskans need ironclad assurances that terrorists will not enter the U.S. disguised as refugees.  Remember that the families of the Boston Marathon Bomber and the terrorist who murdered our servicemen in Tennessee were settled under this refugee program.  Email netaxpayers@gmail.com to join the NE Taxpayers for Freedom Protect NE Now Project.

Our project seeks to prevent the placement of hundreds of Muslim refugees in Nebraska, refugees not vetted by federal agencies for terrorist and/or criminal affiliations. Terrorist groups have openly bragged about infiltrating their suicide bombers into refugee groups, yet the congressional bill passed today DOES NOT stop potential terrorists from entering the U.S. from countries other than Syria. The Obama refugee program diverts financial resources for the very countries in the Third World from which stem the refugee crises.  Money the Obama Regime spends to settle 1 Muslim refugee here could help 500 overseas where they live.  Gov. Sam Brownback emphatically has rejected the resettlement of Somali Muslims in Kansas.  Do not allow NE communities to transform into unrecognizable Third World enclaves, where ungrateful refugees overwhelm local governments with demands for welfare services, special treatment for their kids in public schools, banning of Christmas carols, and insistence that local restaurants not serve pork products on their menus.  Join our NTF Protect Nebraska Now Project and help us win pledges from our state and local officials to oppose the dumping of hundreds of unvetted Muslim refugees in Nebraska communities.  Email netaxpayers@gmail.com.  Take one of our project packets to your state senator, mayor, city council member, county commissioner, school board member, and other local officials.  Circulate one of our petitions.  Win pledges from them to oppose Muslim refugees flooding your community.  Tell them that you do not want semi-autonomous neighborhoods in your town like exist in Dearborn, MI., where Muslim residents do not consider themselves part of the local society and refuse to assimilate or fly the American Flag.  Resist by speaking out against those who collaborate with this resettlement.  Write an editorial to your newspaper.  Call in to a local radio talk show about this clear and present danger.  Read The Red-Green Axis, by James Simpson, which tells how the Radical Left, leftwing philanthropists, and the Obama Regime have joined forces to use the U.S. refugee resettlement program to fundamentally transform America. 

HEAR ALTERNATIVE TO OBAMA MEDICAID EXPANSION

State Sen. Merv Riepe will speak on his health insurance plan that is a conservative alternative to expanding Obama Care Medicaid in Nebraska.  Hear this better approach at the NE Taxpayers for Freedom meeting on Wed. Oct. 21, 6:30 PM at Millard Library, 132nd & Westwood Ln., Omaha.  Expanding Obama-Medicaid will only burden state taxpayers further. 

STOP THE OBAMA REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT IN NEBRASKA

The Obama Regime seeks to dump thousands of Muslim and other refugees in communities around the nation, including Omaha and Lincoln, NE.  These hordes of refugees require many public services paid for by taxpayers.  These refugees almost immediately qualify for welfare and health care services.  Their criminal element fills our jails and prisons.  Their children burden schools, requiring special education and English as a 2nd Language teachers.  Attend our NTF Project Immigration meeting on Wed. CONSERVATIVE ACTIVIST WORKSHOP

American Majority, the leading conservative grass-roots organizing leader in the nation, will jointly sponsor with Nebraska Taxpayers for Freedom a conservative activist seminar workshop on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, at Mutual 1st Credit Union, 14510 F Street, Omaha.  Topics will include the following:  Building a Grass-roots Machine, A More Transparent & Accountable Government, How to Utilize and Grow Your Political Talent, How to Communicate Effectively in Politics, Facebook 101, Twitter 101, and Twitter Activism.  This workshop is free but donations gratefully accepted.

Nebraska Taxpayers for Freedom will host NE Att.-Gen. Doug Peterson at our monthly meeting on Wed. Sept. 16, 6:30 PM at Millard Library, 132nd & Westwood Ln., Omaha.  He will speak on his support of the death penalty.  Please come & bring friends & neighbors!

STOP THE CITY OF OMAHA WHEEL TAX HIKE

Join Nebraska Taxpayers for Freedom to stop a proposed ordinance from Omaha city council members Franklin Thompson and Chris Jerram to add to our wheel tax.  Residents would pay a total of $74 annually by 2019.  These 2 council members instead should lobby our state senators to restore the state gas tax revenue taken from Omaha in 2008.  Thompson and Jerram should propose an ordinance to require contractors to guarantee their street work for at least 2 or 3 years.  Now, both new street construction and street repaving and repairs disintegrate too soon.  Our streets filled with cracks and craters.  Drivers left with expensive vehicle repairs.  Don't blame Nebraska weather.  South Dakota streets and roads last longer.  Contact your city council members today to squash this proposed ordinance.
