Nebraska Taxpayers for
Freedom is considering starting a petition campaign to stop the Omaha streetcar
plan in its tracks, but ONLY IF enough citizens volunteer to circulate petitions
asking the City Council to reverse its support for the current streetcar plan. We believe that the proposed financing plan
will fail, resulting in an additional sales tax, a streetcar tax, or higher
