CORRECT TERMINOLOGY

During this election season, the liberal media has redoubled its campaign to label conservative groups & candidates as “far right,” “extremists,” or even “fascists.”  This media conveniently labels socialist & communist groups and candidates as “progressives” or “moderates.”  The media intention is to sway voters.  Conservatives can return the favor by accurately calling lib media candidates & their supporting groups “Socialist Democrats,” “socialists,” “communist-oriented,” or RINOS (Republican in name only).  Email netaxpayers@gmail.com for our taxpayer voting guide.

VOTE RIGHT

Before you criticize our NE Taxpayers for Freedom group for wrongly labeling a candidate conservative or liberal, examine the voting records of these candidates, as we do.  We evaluate candidates & office holders based on their voting records and contributors, not on what they disseminate in their campaign literature or in their TV or radio commercials.  Yes, politicians do lie!  The candidates NTF supports have fiscally conservative voting records.  Email netaxpayers@gmail.com for our Voting Guide.

DON'T VOTE FOR RINOS

RINOS do not deserve re-election.  One blatant example is Allen Hager, running for re-election to the Learning Community, a bureaucratic nightmare imposed on taxpayers by the Legislature.  The LC flagrantly wastes our property tax & other tax $$ and provides little academic improvement for poor kids.  It does not bar services to illegal aliens. The LC rightly deserves elimination as a taxing authority . Hager regularly votes along with the rest of the pack to continue reckless spending, e.g.  to approve a socio-economic diversity plan for the FY 2018-2019 school year.  He does not deserve taxpayer

votes!

POOR EDUCATION

The trickle of parents pulling their children from OPS schools has reached a tidal wave, as 1,400 OP$ students have fled the district.  The reasons are simple.  Incompetent administrators scheduling students on-line part of a week and in class other days.  No sports season.  Union teachers more intent on radicalizing their students instead of teaching them about American Exceptionalism.  Incomprehensible Common Core curriculum that students, teachers, & parents cannot understand.  And OP$ wants state taxpayers to assume responsibility for its grossly underfunded pension system.  Email netaxpayers@gmail.com to join our NE Taxpayers Education Watch Project.

A CLEAR CHOICE

State Sen. Carol Blood, running for re-election, is no friend to taxpayers.  She voted to raise filing fees over 100% for taxpayers challenging their higher property valuations and to force cities like Bellevue to establish dense, government-subsidized housing in single family residential neighborhoods, which would destroy property values.  Blood also voted to make it more difficult to terminate welfare benefits and voted to extend maximum Medicaid expansion.  Her opponent, Rick Holdcroft, is a fiscal conservative.

THE BAD AND THE GOOD

One of the most vigorous opponents of real property tax relief is the NSEA teachers union.  It has pumped a $15,280 contribution into the Tim Royers Dist. 31 legislative race.  Royers is the head of the Millard teachers union.  In addition to opposing the death penalty & being pro-abortion, in 1 of his essays he argues that public school curricula should abandon the traditional view of American exceptionalism, saying it is difficult to defend.  Such teaching I believe results in the radicalization of students, our children, molding them into the rioters and Flag-burners we now see on our streets.  Royers’ opponent is moderate Republican Rich Pahls.
